CNBC will air a documentary called “America’s Gun: The Rise of AR-15” on Thursday (tomorrow night) April 25th at 10pm ET/PT http://americasgun.cnbc.com
With approximately 4 million AR-15 in circulation in American and one of the most popular and misunderstood rifles, this documentary is said to offer a window into the larger debate and the incendiary issues that surround it. We’ll see. Just sayin. America's Gun - The Rise of the AR-15 Preview
The documentary centers on the friction between those who abhor a rifle they believe belongs only on a battlefield, and those Americans who insist owning one is their inalienable right, thus touted as appealing to gun lovers and gun haters.
Tapping into my primary focus of "preparedness for women"; many of which own an AR-15, I was sent these promo clips by Katherine Guirales the Associate Marketing Manager for CNBC. Why the AR-15 is Popular with Women
I always; as should you, approach these documentaries with caution with a small hope that just maybe something good will come of them. I mean, if nothing more than to bring awareness to those who are unfamiliar with the AR-15 so that they in turn can perform their own due diligent research. How the AR-15 Works
There will also be a live Tweet Chat during the show at 10pm ET/PT using the hashtag #RiseOfAR15 for which I would ask that as many of you can participate in to voice your concerns and opinions on the documentary. Social Media is a very powerful voice.
